Cometal Engineering Spa, the company established in October 2009 by Bruno Mancini and which inherited the spirit and tradition of the company of the same name merged in 2004 into the Gruppo Trevisan, has started operations in its new Montichiari (BS) facility focusing on the design and manufacturing of extrusion and smelting plants for aluminium and its alloys.
Cometal Engineering has also acquired full control of the China-based Foshan Trevisan Cometal Industrial Machinery destined to become the corporate bridgehead on the Chinese, Indian and Far East markets. The two production units have a 200-unit staff including technicians and machine tool and assembly operators, and are able to meet the more and more demanding requests of the market, which has deeply changed following the crisis burst out in 2008.
Cometal Engineering aims to offer custom-made solutions devoted to increase productivity, automation and energy saving, a must that the company satisfies by strengthening more the engineering component of its organizational structure than the manufacturing one.
